Lemon Pepper Chicken:


Ingredients:
  • 3 chicken breast pieces.
  • 1 egg.
  • 2 tbsp corn starch.
  • Salt and pepper.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil.
  • Sauce Ingredients:
  • 1 cup of chicken stock.
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce.
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar.
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest.
  • 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice.
  • 1 tbsp ginger grated.
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 tsp pepper.
  • 1 tbsp corn starch.
Preparation:
  1. First of all cut chicken into small pieces. Crack in an egg, add corn starch, a pinch of salt and pepper as per your taste. Mix all together and place it aside.
  2. Next step now we are going to make up our sauce. Now combine chicken stock, soy sauce, zest of half of a lemon ( and I mention that don't go too far into the wide of the lemon otherwise it will be bitter). Now add lemon juice, grated ginger and grated garlic, pepper and at the end corn starch. Mix them all together. Our sauce is ready now.
  3. Now take a frying pan, put tbsp of oil and fry the chicken first. when it becomes golden brown then add sauce and stir until the sauce becomes thicker. Turn off the heat. When I make it, my kitchen burst out with the smell of lemon and yummy chicken.
  4. Serve it with steaming hot rice. Enjoy it with your family and have fun.
