8 Healthy Habits to Follow to Live Better:

Who said routine hurts? Actually, having habits can help you live better because you have goals to pursue that help you stay focused. In fact, it's not easy to stay focused on all the things you have to do: work, family, home. Reconciling everything can be difficult.

That is why it is good to follow some habits that can help us improve our life and our health. Here are 8 healthy habits that we recommend to follow to live better :

1) Follow a morning routine:

How our day begins affects its entire course. In the morning you are more and more energetic, but often you do everything in a hurry, risking to increase your stress levels. Our advice is to wake up early and take the time to savor breakfast, calmly prepare to go out and draw up a to-do list during the day to set daily goals.

2) Eat healthily:

Following a healthy and balanced diet is the key principle for those who want to live better and in health. It is important not to skip the three main meals, avoiding meals between meals: according to a study, in fact, eating irregularly can increase the risk of contracting diabetes. Furthermore, eating lots of fruit and vegetables increases the immune system and reduces the risk of heart disease and cancer.

3) Drink lots of water:

Our body is made up of 70% water which is used not only to hydrate the body but also to keep the body temperature constant, to transport nutrients to the cells, and to eliminate waste. A good habit to follow is to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.

4) Have regular sleep:

Sleeping is not only a moment of rest for our body but also of detoxification: when we sleep in our body, a series of vital functions are activated that regenerate our body from damage suffered during the day. Our advice to live better is to sleep at least 8 hours a night and have regular times, then go to sleep and wake up at the same time, so as not to alter the regular "sleep-wake" cycle.

5) Exercise:

To stimulate blood circulation, as well as metabolism, you should spend at least 30 minutes a day for physical exercise. When you can't attend a class in the gym or you don't have time to run, we recommend small tricks to get around more like, for example, stretching as soon as you wake up in the morning, park your car away from the workplace to walk a bit. To detoxify, we recommend that you do not turn on your mobile phone immediately in the morning as soon as you wake up, do not always keep mobile phones or computers on you to avoid contact with electromagnetic waves and, finally, turn off the TV in the evening at least an hour before going to sleep.

8) Make regular checks:

Prevention is an excellent ally for those who want to live healthily. In Italy, there are still very few people who undergo regular blood tests or who join screening programs.
