Tulsi is considered to be a herbal remedy. Basil is used as a medicine in many diseases and also in skin infections. Basil leaves are also treated. Let us know the benefits of Tulsi-

Nutrients of basil:

Beneficial Properties of Tulsi / Basil Basil leaves contain vitamins and minerals. It mainly contains Vitamin C, Calcium, Zinc and Iron etc. Along with this, citric, tartaric and malic acid are found in basil.

Benefits of Basil:

Basil root is sucked like betel nut when coughing or sore throat.

In respiratory diseases, putting basil leaves in the mouth like betel nut with black salt gives relief.

Roasting green leaves of Tulsi on fire and eating it with salt cures cough and sore throat.

Cough is cured by chewing 4 roasted cloves with basil leaves.

Chewing the tender leaves of Tulsi gives relief from cough and runny nose.

In cough and cold - drinking tea prepared from basil leaves, ginger and black pepper gives immediate benefits.

Make 10-12 basil leaves and 8-10 black pepper tea and drink it, it cures cough, cold and fever.

You can make a paste of basil leaves and mix rose water in it and apply it on the face for 10 minutes and then wash it off with plain water.
